Digital and chemical.

Chemigrams (a term coined by Pierre Cordiere ) whereby black and white photographic chemistry is combined with other materials in the form of ‘resists’ to create photographic objects. Removing the ‘normal’ function of photographic paper as a surface for image capture to one of mysterious chemical interactions and attractions, subject amongst other things to the laws of valency.

These images are scanned into the digital space, modified and combined with other digital imagery to create ‘Hybrid’ images.
